Post-apocalyptic extraction shooter

Go in.
Loot.
Escape.

Top-down extraction shooter about risky travel, scarce supplies, strange companions, tactical gear, and the moment you decide that one more room is not worth dying for.

About RONTGARD

Survival starts before the raid.

RONTGARD is a post-apocalyptic extraction shooter where preparation matters as much as aim. You leave base with limited gear, travel through an unstable wasteland, enter dangerous locations, and try to come back with enough resources to make the next run less desperate.

Travel through a dangerous world.

The overworld is not just a menu. Routes can pulse with the chance of merchants, enemies, ambushes, or rare encounters, turning every trip into a small gamble before the raid begins. Decide whether it’s worth venturing farther from safety in search of greater rewards.

Bring companions with real purpose.

Trained animals and robots can change how you scout, fight, carry, or survive. The goal is not a cosmetic follower, but a companion whose abilities change your plan, opening new tactical options, covering your weaknesses, and sometimes becoming the difference between a clean raid and a desperate retreat.

Use gear that feels improvised and dangerous.

Sidearms, quick melee throws, taped magazines, dodge rolls, flamethrowers that burn grass and trees, and heavier tools like a chained sawblade give combat more texture than simply swapping guns. Add in scrappy post-apocalyptic throwables, from jury-rigged boomerangs to brutal improvised blades, and fights become less about raw firepower and more about timing, positioning, and creative problem-solving.

Build, recycle, unlock, return.

Runs feed long-term survival. Blueprints unlock new features, the recycler turns junk into basic materials, and base upgrades give you better ways to prepare before stepping back into the Zone. Every successful raid pushes your shelter forward, turning scavenged scraps into new crafting options, safer logistics, stronger defenses, and small comforts that make the next expedition feel a little less hopeless.
